Hypnotherapy is simply relaxing the conscious mind to be able to communicate with the subconscious mind through guided imagery and suggestions. It's allowing deep relaxation, in which you are still aware, so that through guided imagery you can reframe any negative patterns of thought, release any beliefs/habits that are keeping you from growth and even change your thoughts on your abilities and goals towards any area personal or professional.

Yes! We say that ALL Hypnosis is self Hypnosis. Meaning you are in complete control even if you are deeply relaxed or in what we refer to as trance. You are aware of your surroundings and can hear all imagery being guided. You also go only as deep into trance as you feel comfortable with as well as choose the specific focus for your session.
No, while yes, we can work with specific concerns that one may have, we practice within a scope of meeting our clients where they currently are and assisting them in forward momentum towards their desired outcome of a goal or releasing anything that no longer serves them.
While a wonderful question, there is no definitive answer as everyone is different and all focused goals can take different amounts of sessions for each individual. We all are complex individuals, and while you may have a focus that you are ready to work on, once we begin with a session, something different may come up for you that we need to explore before moving onto the original goal or focus. That is the beauty of the subconscious mind, it remembers everything and once we start the work, the imagery of your subconscious may reveal another focus that needs addressing.
The beauty about Hypnosis is that the subconscious will never bring up anything that you are not ready to face or process. The only real thing needed is your willingness to be open. What the mind presents is what is ready to be processed so that you can release it and be free of it.
